My Trip to Inglot Toronto
If you’ve been reading my blog from the beginning, you’ll know that I love Inglot eyeshadows. In a previous post, I mentioned that I wished Inglot had a retail store in Toronto. Well, it seems like my wish came true. :)
The store is beautiful! It’s located in front of Eaton Centre in Dundas Square. However, one thing that I love about Inglot is it’s price point and perhaps due to its location (high rent perhaps?) the prices were a bit higher. I’ve ordered Inglot eyeshadows for $8 in the past. At the store, their eyeshadows are $10. It is still a good deal, but not as much of a steal as it usually is.
I decided to make another freedom system eyeshadow palette, but instead of an all matte, neutral eyeshadow palette, I bought myself some jewel-toned eyeshadows!
Freedom System Palette: Eyeshadow Review
428 was a colour that I had been eying for a very long time. It’s a colour that I may not wear very often, but it’s such a beaut! The rest of the colours were impulse buys — something I never do when I buy makeup (I always read reviews, it’s a habit!)
605 is a copper colour that is very similar to MAC Coppering eyeshadow. I would definitely say that they are dupes — you don’t need to own both. I’m kind of annoyed that I bought this eyeshadow because when I first saw this colour I thought it was so unique. *slaps forehead* I would say MAC Coppering is a tinge more rosey, whereas Inglot 605 leans more orange/rusty.
Inglot 446 is a beautiful plum purple shade, 414 is a shimmery emerald and 321 is a matte, midnight blue.
Pigmentation is great as usual. I noticed that 428 and 446 take a bit of effort to work with, but 605, 414 and 321 are one-swatchers. The colour I’m most impressed with in terms of pigmentation is 605 — it swatches so effortlessly.
Do you own anything from Inglot? If you’re in the Toronto area, do you think you’ll be paying a visit to the Inglot store? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments section!
